About

I’m Ashutosh — a software engineer who spends work hours building systems and off hours reading philosophy and mathematics. TODO: replace this paragraph with a real intro (who you are, what you do, where you work or what you’re building).

This blog sits at the intersection of those interests: essays on philosophy (mostly Stoic), the mathematics behind machine learning, software engineering, and the occasional rant. The name is the thesis — stochastic because the world draws outcomes from distributions you don’t control, stoic because the sane response is to govern the part that is yours: the policy, not the sample. TODO: adjust to taste.
